PEERS® Social Skills

Young Adults || Teens || High School Program || Preschoolers

The PEERS® program is an empirically researched curriculum shown to significantly improve social skills and peer interactions among teens with autism ADHD or social anxiety. This program is now offered for Young Adults, Teenagers, High Schools and Preschoolers.

The program also includes parent sessions to enhance learning for the participant. NDIS funding can be used.

Which PEERS program is for you?

Peers for Preschoolers

Peers for Preschoolers is a 16 week program and costs $3200 per participant. This is ideal for children aged 3-6 and included parent involvement and a separate parent group run concurrently. Topics and themes discussed and learnt in PEERs for Preschoolers includes:

Having Play dates / Joining in Playgroups

Sharing and Taking Turns

Asking and Joining Play

Body Boundaries

Greeting Friends

Emotional Regulation during play and social interaction

Eligibility: Diagnosis or currently being assessed for Autism, ADHD, Social Anxiety or challenging behaviours amongst peers.

PEERS for Teens / Young Adults

Peers for Teens + Adults is a 13 week program and costs $2800 per participant. Parents or caregivers attend a group concurrently with their teen to assist with learning and consolidate new skills between sessions.

Eligibility: Diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, Social Anxiety, Generalised Anxiety and experiences difficulty and lack of awareness regarding peer related behaviours and struggles to make connections and friendships. Lacks social confidence.

PEERs for Schools

Our team can visit your school and facilitate the PEERs for School Program to a class or selected students. Brenda has been delivering the school based PEERs Program in various schools across NE Victoria.

Eligibility; Students who identify with Autism, ADHD, social challenges and lack confidence in peer related communication.
