PEERS® Social Skills

Young Adults || Teens || High School Program || Preschoolers

The PEERS® program is an empirically researched curriculum shown to significantly improve social skills and peer interactions among teens with autism ADHD or social anxiety. This program is now offered for Young Adults, Teenagers, High Schools and Preschoolers.

The program also includes parent sessions to enhance learning for the participant. NDIS funding can be used.

PEERs is coming to Shepparton

The PEERs Social Skills Programs are now being offered in Shepparton starting February 16th 2027.

All three programs are evidence based to build confidence across all ages in social skill development.

PEERs for Preschoolers - ages 4-6

This is an ideal program for children who require some support, has a diagnosis of Autism or ADHD or social anxiety. This is a 16 week program and each session is approximately 1-1.5hours.

PEERs for Teen - 12+

Ideal for children who have a diagnosis of Autism or ADHD and are experiences some challenges with making and building lasting friendships. This 14 week program will help boost their confidence and give them life long skills. Sessions are approximately 1-1.5hours.

PEERs for Adults - 18+

This program assists adults who identify as neurodivergent or have an Intellectual Disability with confidence to build skills associated with friendships, community connections and dating for romantic relationships. This is a 14 week program and sessions are approximately 1-1.5hours.

Parent Sessions

For each of our programs, a parent or caregiver attend their own session at the same time. We encourage the same parent or caregive to attend each session for continuity. This is a very unique and special part of why PEERs is so successful as a social skills development program.

Which PEERS program is for you?

Peers for Preschoolers

Peers for Preschoolers is a 16 week program and costs $3600 per participant. This is ideal for children aged 3-6 and included parent involvement and a separate parent group run concurrently.

Eligibility: Diagnosis or currently being assessed for Autism, ADHD, Social Anxiety or challenging behaviours amongst peers.

PEERS for Teens / Young Adults

Peers for Teens + Adults is a 13 week program and costs $3200 per participant. Parents or caregivers attend a group concurrently with their teen to assist with learning and consolidate new skills between sessions.

Eligibility: Diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, Social Anxiety, Generalised Anxiety and experiences difficulty and lack of awareness regarding peer related behaviours and struggles to make connections and friendships. Lacks social confidence.
