NOW, THEN, LATER transition strategy

A$5.00

Can be used for children aged 3+

This strategy is great for parents who feel their child could use some additional support when it comes to transitioning from one task to another. Or perhaps you have noticed some anxiety or worry from your child in moments like getting ready for school, the weekend or when social activities are planned.

It is important we communicate with children in a way that allows them to get a sense of what comes next, as it helps their executive functioning (the driver part of the brain) to link the sequence of events. A child's brain is still in the development phase therefore the pairing of visual and auditory means of communication is found to be helpful in reducing anxiety and support children through transitions.

Included in this digital download is

the NOW, THEN, LATER template,

3 pages of colourful images (feel free to add or draw your own)

Step by step instructions on how to implement this into your routine with your child.

Upon purchase a digital PDF will be emailed to you to print at home.
