16th June 6pm Parent Workshop – Young Men's Program
Helping young men grow into confident, respectful, and emotionally intelligent individuals.
Schools are seeing more and more young men struggling with emotional regulation, peer pressure, and a sense of purpose. These challenges often lead to disengagement, poor behaviour and fractured relationships at school and at home.
This 45-minute workshop, created and delivered by educator and qualified teen life mentor Pat Noonan, is for parents who want to better understand how to support their son as he navigates growing up in a complex and rapidly changing world.
Drawing on over 10 years of teaching and personal experiences as a young man growing up in regional Australia. Pat shares practical strategies that help parents build stronger connections with their sons while encouraging self-awareness, emotional growth, and healthy identity development.
You’ll learn how to:
Support your son to develop emotional intelligence and manage setbacks.
Help him build confidence and a sense of direction.
Encourage positive masculinity and break away from harmful stereotypes.
Strengthen communication and your relationship at home.
Each session includes a Q&A, so you can ask questions, share concerns, and walk away with actionable insights.
23rd June 6pm Student Workshop – Young Men's Program - Teens 13+
Step into your potential. Lead with strength, not ego.
Being a young man today isn’t easy. There’s pressure to fit in, act tough, and hide how you really feel. But none of that helps you grow into the kind of man you actually want to be.
This 45-minute workshop, led by teen mentor and educator Pat Noonan, is about giving young men the tools and mindset to lead with confidence, take responsibility, and build strong character.
You’ll get a chance to challenge old ideas about what it means to be a man and walk away with real strategies to help you feel more in control of your actions, emotions, and future.
You’ll walk away with:
Tools to regulate emotions and stay calm under pressure.
Clarity on who you want to be and how to get there.
Confidence to lead yourself and make better decisions.
A fresh take on masculinity based on respect, responsibility, and purpose.
The session ends with a Q&A, so you can ask questions and get honest advice on what really matters to you.
Pat also offers 1:1 mentoring for teens and tweens, and works with schools to deliver educational workshops and programs on wellbeing, confidence, masculinity, and technology
